Do you keep beating yourself up over mistakes long after an event has passed? Are you anxious, always doubting yourself or hiding in your comfort zone?
Continuously beating yourself up undermines your self-worth by blocking your confidence to properly care for yourself. This may take the form of not exercising outside for fear of your body being judged by others. Or agreeing to take on tasks you don’t want or have time for, so others think well of you.
This workshop will help you:
- Learn how to stop beating yourself up and start being kind and compassionate toward yourself instead.
- Understand the psychology of self-esteem and why it’s so difficult to develop.
- Identify your personal triggers that cause you to beat yourself up.
By the end of this workshop, you will know how to take actionable steps to soothe yourself with self-kindness and stop beating yourself up.

Your workshop facilitator is Trudy Murphy, the owner of Psychology Snacks, an organization dedicated to sharing science-backed mental health information in an easily digestible and enjoyable format. Trudy has a psychology degree and is working towards registration as a psychologist.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
- Refunds are available up to 12hrs before the event (ie. cancellation request must be received before 6.15am on the day of the workshop to receive a refund).
- A refund of $23 will be provided which is the cost ($25) minus card processing fees ($2).
- You can gift or sell your ticket to a friend if you're unable to attend.
- Tickets cannot be transferred to future workshops.
